Scott has extensive sales and marketing knowledge from working and living across both Europe and Asia, including Japan, Australia, and China. He began in IT sales in 1983, and has held executive positions in small and medium sized companies as well as some of the world′s largest, including IBM, Storage Technology, Computer Associates, and Software AG.

Scott is a keen football fan, having played professionally before his commercial career.
